Welcome to Pleasanton

Pleasanton is one of three cities in the Eastern San Francisco Bay Area that comprise the Tri-Valley. Arguably the most upscale of its sister cities to the east and north, Pleasanton boasts highly rated public schools, established suburban neighborhoods with a family-friendly feel, an adorable downtown, and easily accessible businesses and retail centers.

Pleasanton prides itself on being a safe, close-knit city. This pride is well-founded as the majority of the homes in Pleasanton can be found in one of its many expertly designed-suburbs. Neighborhoods are further enhanced by the close proximity of Pleasanton’s many community parks and exemplary public schools.

Furthering Pleasanton’s desirability are its nearby business and retail centers. Far enough away to preserve the small-town, neighborhood feel, yet close enough to avoid a lengthy commute, some of the recognizable corporate offices represented include: Roche Molecular Systems, Inc., Clorox, Ellie Mae, Oracle, and Kaiser Permanente. Nearby shopping can be found at the Stoneridge Mall, which is anchored by Nordstrom, Macy’s Women’s, Macy’s Men’s and Children’s, and JC Penny.

Pleasanton’s safe, small-town charm, its proximity to work and play, and its top-rated schools make it a desirable place to call home.
